Instructions & Troubleshooting
How to use:
- Insert fresh batteries in to the controller and power it on. You should see the 4th LED flash 5 times.
- Once powered on the Rapid Fire will be turn off (the 4th LED is not lit).
- To jump to one of the five available modes, press the sync button the corresponding amount of times then pull in the right trigger. (Example: To go to setting 3, press the sync button 3 times then pull the right trigger). The 4th LED will flash confirming the mode you entered.
- Once you are in the mode you are able to use that mode as it was previously programmed. You must be in the mode you wish to program.
Note:
To turn off the mod, press the sync button any amount of times greater than 5 and pull the Right Trigger. When the 4th LED is off, Rapid Fire is off.
Programming:
- In order to program the mode you are in, hold in the right trigger and press the sync button for 1 second. When the 4th LED starts to flash, release both the sync button and right trigger. The 4th LED flashes 5 times to confirm you are entering programming mode.
- There are 2 types of firing methods you can program. You can either set the fire method to full auto or burst.
- To set it for full auto, pull the right trigger once, then press the sync button and the 4th led will flash once. To set it for burst, pull the right trigger the amount of burst rounds you want it to fire (Example: 2 Round burst would be 2 trigger pulls, 3 round would burst would be 3 trigger pulls).
- Once you have set the firing method, press the sync button and as noted above, the 4th LED will flash the LED for the firing method you chose.
- Now you are ready to set the fire rate for the method you chose. This firing rate is set in “shots per second”.
- To set the shots per second, simply pull and release the right trigger the amount of times you want to fire per second (Example: If you want to fire 18 shots per second, you will pull the right trigger 18 times).
- Once you have set the firing rate or “shots per second”, simply press the sync button and the 4th LED will flash the corresponding amount of times you set the shots per second to (Example: If you pull the trigger 9 times, the LED will flash 9 times thus confirming 9 shots per second).
- After the conformation is complete (sync button was pressed after setting the shots per second), the mod will return to the mode you programmed ready to go.
Note:
You cannot “delete” a mode; instead, you overwrite the mode with whatever you want the new settings to be.
Setting Rapid Fire for individual triggers or dual trigger:
- When entering a mode, it will default to “Right Trigger Only” mode. This means Rapid Fire is ONLY on the Right Trigger. This also means that ANY of the 5 modes, no matter what the setting is capable of being changed on the fly to meet the needs of different games, or guns.
- To set the mode for Left Trigger Only, with the Right Trigger released, hold in the Left Trigger and press and release the sync button. The 4th LED will flash 1 time. This indicates that it has changed trigger modes.
- To return to Right Trigger only mode, simply press the sync button again and the 4th LED will flash again indicating it has returned to Right Trigger Only mode.
- To enter Dual Trigger Mode, hold in the Right Trigger & Left Trigger. While holding in both triggers, press the sync button then release and the 4th LED will flash rapidly. This LED flashing rapidly means the mode is in Dual Trigger Mode.
- To return to Right Trigger Only, simply press the sync button again and the 4th LED will return to solid confirming Right Trigger Only mode.
Note:
If a mode is setup for “burst” and you put the mode in “Dual Trigger mode” it will be full auto at the shots per second you setup for that mode. We found it to be much more useful that dual trigger burst mode.
Troubleshooting:
If you find your mod not working properly, follow these steps.
- Remove the battery pack for the controller.
- While the battery pack is removed, hold the sync button down.
- While holding the sync button, re-insert the battery pack and turn the controller on at the same time!
- Keep holding the sync button until the 4th LED starts flashing.
- Once it stops flashing, you can release the sync button and you are ready to go!
